SUSTENS Cotton Yarn

A SUSTENS®/cotton blended spandex (elastane) core-spun yarn uses a spandex filament as the elastic core and a SUSTENS®/cotton staple-fiber blend as the outer sheath, combining cotton’s skin-friendly breathability, SUSTENS®’ soft resilient recovery, and spandex’s high stretch with fast rebound in one yarn. The cotton-rich covering feels natural and soft, helping reduce the tightness, grin-through and shine often associated with exposed spandex; SUSTENS® gives the fabric a gentler, more durable recovery and better shape retention, while the spandex core provides immediate recovery after larger extensions—so garments stay close-fitting without feeling restrictive, move freely, and resist loosening or bagging.
