201 Stainless Steel Sheet or Plate

201 Stainless Steel Sheet/Plate is an austenitic chromium-nickel-manganese alloy that delivers corrosion resistance comparable to 301 while offering lower cost through reduced nickel content. It combines good formability, weldability and strength, making it suitable for decorative panels, kitchen equipment, automotive trim, hose clamps, architectural wall-cladding and restaurant fixtures. The surface can be supplied as hot-rolled No.1, cold-rolled 2B/BA, or polished to 8K mirror and embossed patterns. Standard thickness ranges from 0.3 mm to 50 mm in widths up to 1 500 mm and lengths up to 6 000 mm; coils or custom-cut blanks are also available. Typical mechanical properties are 515 MPa tensile, 205 MPa yield and 40 % elongation, allowing deep drawing and spinning without intermediate annealing.
