316/316L Stainless Steel Round Pipe/Tube is the industry benchmark for austenitic corrosion resistance. Containing 16–18 % chromium, 10–14 % nickel and 2–3 % molybdenum, the alloy forms a self-healing passive film that withstands chlorides, acids and elevated temperatures far better than 304. The low-carbon “L” grade (<0.03 % C) eliminates inter-granular corrosion in heavy-section welds, while dual-certification 316/316L pipe allows designers to use one material for both high-strength and high-corrosion zones.     Manufacturing Standards & Sizes Our pipes are produced seamless (ASTM A312, A269, A213), longitudinally welded (ASTM A249, A554) or spiral-welded to EN 10216-5, JIS G3459 and GB 13296. Outside diameters span 6 mm–2 500 mm (1⁄4"–100"), wall thickness 0.3 mm–150 mm (Sch 5S–XXS) and mill lengths 1–12 m. Surface options include pickled, 180–600 grit polished, mirror 8K, electropolished (Ra ≤ 0.38 µm) and bright-annealed (BA) for ultra-high purity duties. Every coil, len…
